Lost and Found Center Established at Ghaziabad RRTS Station for Commuter Convenience

As the 17-kilometer-long Priority Section of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor prepares to commence operations, efforts are underway to enhance the travel experience on these advanced high-speed RAPIDX train services. A dedicated Lost and Found Center has been introduced at the Ghaziabad RRTS station to facilitate the recovery of lost items.

This center aims to simplify the process of reuniting passengers with their misplaced belongings. If a passenger accidentally leaves their belongings at the station or on a RAPIDX train, they can reach out to the station staff for assistance. For inquiries and support related to lost and found items, passengers can contact the RAPIDX Customer Service Center at 08069651515.

If RAPIDX staff discovers or receives lost items within the station premises or on the train, passengers have 24 hours to claim their possessions from the same location where they were misplaced. After this window, any unclaimed items and baggage will be transferred to the dedicated Lost and Found Center at the Ghaziabad station. Passengers are encouraged to hand over lost or abandoned luggage belonging to others to the station personnel.

The dedicated Lost and Found Center at the Ghaziabad station will operate daily from 8 am to 8 pm, making it more convenient for passengers to recover their belongings. Unclaimed items will be disposed of after six months in accordance with the retention policy. Information about lost and found items will also be accessible on the RAPIDX app of NCRTC.

With the establishment of this Lost and Found Center, NCRTC aims to provide a safe and dependable commuting experience for its passengers.

RAPIDX is designed to offer rapid, secure, and comfortable regional transit services, with the additional benefit of generating employment, business opportunities, and educational prospects, contributing to the multi-centric development of the National Capital Region (NCR). This sustainable public transportation system also intends to substantially reduce congestion and air pollution.
