These popular packaged edible items, including biscuits, chocolates, cakes, ice creams, chips, namkeens, aerated drinks, fruit juices, and more, are available at static catering units across Konkan Railway stations.

Previously, the approval process for PAD products relied on periodic tendering and shortlisting. However, in a bid to encourage entrepreneurship and offer a wider range of products to passengers, Konkan Railway has now introduced a year-round inclusion procedure. Manufacturers and franchisees can apply for product approval on a walk-in basis, anytime during the year. This new approach eliminates barriers to entry, enabling a more diverse range of businesses to participate in railway station services.
