This unique educational pilgrimage will strengthen transdisciplinary education and provide hands-on knowledge for new research. The itinerary includes visits to centers of excellence such as the Indian Navy, ISRO, and Sabarmati Ashram.

Alignment with National Education Policy:

Aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, “Gyanodaya Express” seeks to shift the paradigm from job seekers to job creators, promoting idea incubation, innovation, and skill development.

Holistic Understanding:

Beyond academic pursuits, the initiative aims to provide students with a holistic understanding of the areas they visit. It serves as a catalyst for personal growth, innovation, and national unity.

Distinguished Guests and Partnerships:

The flag-off ceremony saw the presence of Prof. Dinesh Singh, Vice Chairman, J&K Higher Education Council, and Prof. Umesh Rai, Vice-Chancellor University of Jammu. IRCTC has collaborated with the Higher Education Council, J&K Government, for the execution of “College on Wheels.”
