IRCTC offers ‘Divya Kashi Yatra’ tour by ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ AC tourist train

The visit of old and important temples on the famous Panch Koshi yatra route are the major attraction of this unique tour.

State of Art Deluxe AC Tourist Train with 1st AC & 2nd AC class will accommodate total 156 tourists.

IRCTC Ltd, a Public Sector Undertaking and the extended tourism and hospitality arm of Railways announces the launch of the Divya Kashi Yatra by its Deluxe AC Tourists train for the devotees to visit this ancient and famous religious centre of the country. The company will operate 2 tours of the train in the month of March with the first being planned on 22nd March and the second planned on 28th March respectively from Delhi Safdarjung. While the train is already booked for 22nd March with only few seats remaining, the bookings for 28th March has just started and is open.

Divya Kashi Yatra is 5 day all inclusive train tour package covering visits to cultural sites of Kashi, the ancient Ghats of mighty Ganga with a spritual evening of Ganga Aarti and the ancient temples located en route to the world famous Panch Koshi Parikrama of Kashi in addition to the important religious temples of Varanasi.

After departing from Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station in the afternoon on the first day, the train will reach Varanasi on the next day. The tourists will first visit to Sarnath, one of the significant centers of Buddhism and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After check-in at hotel, visit of Tourist facilitation centre and craft museum is planned in the itinerary in addition to a cultural evening. On the third day tourist will visit the Kal Bhairav Temple and Kashi Vishwanath Corridor and temple. In the afternoon, the tourists will witness the mighty Ghats of river Ganga on boat ride. The day will end with a spell bound evening Arti of Ganga which will be witnessed by the tourists from boat on Dashaswamedh Ghat.

On day-4, in the morning, the tourist will visit Sankatmochan Hanuman Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple, Durga Temple and Bharat Mata Temple. After the breakfast, the group will start the visit of five temples on famous Panchkoshi Yatra including Kardmeshwar Shiva Temple, Bhimchandi, Rameshwar Shiv Temple, Shivpur and Kapileshwar Temple. The tourists will finally board the train for their return journey in the evening on fourth day. The tour will finally come to end on the fifth day at Delhi Safdarjung Railway station.

IRCTC’s state of art Deluxe AC Tourist Train has a host of astounding features including two fine dining restaurants, a modern kitchen serving a range of delicacies, shower cubicles in coaches, sensor based washroom functions, foot massager. The fully air-conditioned train offers two categories of accommodation – 1st AC and 2nd AC. The train has enhanced security features of CCTV cameras and in-cabin electronic safe lockers in every coach.

IRCTC has attractively priced the all inclusive tour package with Rs 29950/- for first AC Class and Rs 24500/- for second AC Class. The all inclusive tour package covers Train Journey in AC classes, Accommodation in AC Hotels, All meals (VEG ONLY), all transfer & sight-seeing in AC Vehicles, Travel Insurance and services of IRCTC Tour Managers etc. Government/PSU employees can avail LTC facility on this tour as per eligibility based on the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India.

IRCTC will ensure all necessary health precautions measures for the tourists by striving to provide safe and healthy travel environment during the entire tour. To ensure the safety measures post COVID 19 in its deluxe tourist train, COVID-19 fully Vaccination is mandatory for Guests of age group 15 or above. Beside this, IRCTC will also provide a safety kit to all tourists having face mask, hand gloves and sanitizer.
