Progress Update: 1500 Kilometers Achieved

Today, Minister of Railways, Ashwini Vaishnaw, announced that the completion of 1500 kilometers underscores the project’s commitment to advancement. With a recent tender set to release for an extensive 3000 kilometers, KAVATCH is poised for its most significant phase to date.

Delhi-Kolkata and Delhi-Mumbai Corridors on Track for 2024-2025 Completion

The eagerly awaited Delhi-Kolkata and Delhi-Mumbai corridors are on track to be completed in the fiscal year 2024-2025, exemplifying KAVATCH’s dedication to enhancing connectivity nationwide, according to Minister Vaishnaw.

Next Generation KAVATCH to Redefine Infrastructure Standards

Minister Vaishnaw revealed that KAVATCH is not resting on its laurels. The introduction of the Next Generation KAVATCH, featuring 4G/5G-based systems, is set to redefine infrastructure technology standards. The tender for this cutting-edge technology is expected to be unveiled next month.

Ambitious Targets: 5000 Kilometers per Year by 2025-2026

In terms of targets, KAVATCH has set an ambitious goal of covering 2500 kilometers per year. However, the real showstopper is the projected leap in 2025-2026, with a target of an astounding 5000 kilometers per year. This leap underscores KAVATCH’s commitment to pushing boundaries and propelling India into a new era of advanced and interconnected infrastructure.
