Indian Railways Launches Additional Ganpati Special Trains for 2023 Festivities

As the fervor of the Ganpati Festival sweeps across the nation, Indian Railways has announced the operation of additional special trains to accommodate the surge in passenger numbers. This welcome decision aims to alleviate the anticipated rush during the Ganpati Festival of 2023. Here are the details of the newly introduced services:

1. Udhna – Madgaon Jn. – Udhna (Bi-Weekly) Special on Special Fare (Train No. 09020 / 09019):

Under this special bi-weekly service, Train No. 09020 Udhna – Madgaon Jn. (Bi-Weekly) Special on Special Fare will depart from Udhna at 15:25 hrs on Wednesdays and Saturdays, on September 16, 20, 23, 27, and 30, 2023. The train will reach Madgaon Jn. at 09:30 hrs on the following day.

Conversely, Train No. 09019 Madgaon Jn. – Udhna (Bi-Weekly) Special on Special Fare will set off from Madgaon Jn. at 10:20 hrs on Thursdays and Sundays, on September 17, 21, 24, 28, and October 1, 2023. The train will arrive at Udhna at 05:00 hrs on the subsequent day.

The train is scheduled to halt at numerous stations, including Navsari, Valsad, Vapi, Palghar, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, and others.

The composition of this train comprises a total of 22 LHB Coaches, including First AC, 2 Tier AC, 3 Tier AC, Sleeper, General, and other coaches.

2. Ahmedabad Jn. – Kudal – Ahmedabad Jn. (Weekly) Special on Special Fare (Train No. 09412 / 09411):

Operating on a weekly basis, Train No. 09412 Ahmedabad Jn. – Kudal Weekly Special on Special Fare will commence its journey from Ahmedabad Jn. at 09:30 hrs on Tuesdays, specifically on September 12, 19, and 26, 2023. The train is expected to arrive at Kudal at 04:10 hrs the following day.

Train No. 09411 Kudal – Ahmedabad Jn. Weekly Special on Special Fare will leave Kudal at 06:30 hrs on Wednesdays, on September 13, 20, and 27, 2023, reaching Ahmedabad Jn. at 03:30 hrs the next day.

The train’s scheduled stops include Vadodara Jn., Surat, Vapi, Palghar, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, and others.

The train’s composition comprises 2 Tier AC, 3 Tier AC, Sleeper, General, and other coaches, totaling 22 LHB Coaches.

3. Udhna – Mangaluru Jn. – Udhna (Weekly) Special on Special Fare (Train No. 09057 / 09058):

For travelers between Udhna and Mangaluru Jn., Train No. 09057 Udhna – Mangaluru Jn. Weekly Special on Special Fare will depart from Udhna at 20:00 hrs on Wednesdays, on September 13, 20, and 27, 2023. The train will arrive at Mangaluru Jn. at 18:30 hrs on the following day.

Likewise, Train No. 09058 Mangaluru Jn. – Udhna Weekly Special on Special Fare will initiate its journey from Mangaluru Jn. at 20:45 hrs on Thursdays, on September 14, 21, and 28, 2023. The train will reach Udhna at 20:00 hrs on the subsequent day.

The train is scheduled to stop at several stations, including Valsad, Vapi, Palghar, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, and many others.
