Indian Railways Expands General Class Coaches in Key Trains for Passenger Convenience
In a move aimed at enhancing travel comfort for general category passengers, Indian Railways has significantly increased the number of coaches in 46 crucial long-distance trains. A total of 92 new general category coaches have been installed across these trains, with plans underway to expand this initiative to 22 additional trains.
The decision to bolster coach capacity is part of Indian Railways’ commitment to meeting the growing demand for general class travel. The following trains have been identified for the installation of additional coaches:
