In a recent update for the benefit of passengers and the general public, Indian Railways has made modifications to the schedule of two prominent Vande Bharat Express trains connecting New Delhi to Amb Andaura and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra. The changes, attributed to operational considerations, will be effective from March 21, 2024. Details of the revised days of run for the respective trains are outlined below:

1. Train No. 22447/22448: New Delhi – Amb Andaura – New Delhi Vande Bharat Express

Existing Schedule:

  • Days of Run: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Exception: Friday

Revised Schedule:

  • Days of Run: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Exception: Tuesday

Effective from: March 21, 2024

From New Delhi: The train will now run on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with an exception on Tuesday.

From Amb Andaura: The revised schedule will be effective from March 21, 2024.

2. Train No. 22439/22440: New Delhi – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – New Delhi Vande Bharat Express

Existing Schedule:

  • Days of Run: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Exception: Tuesday

Revised Schedule:

  • Days of Run: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Exception: Wednesday

Effective from: March 21, 2024

From New Delhi: The train will now run on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with an exception on Wednesday.

From Katra: The revised schedule will be effective from March 21, 2024.

Passengers and stakeholders are advised to take note of these changes and plan their travel accordingly, as the adjustments aim to optimize operational efficiency on these key routes.
