In association with a low-pressure area, meteorological experts are predicting an extended period of heavy rainfall in several parts of India over the next few days, potentially leading to flash floods in some regions. The latest weather observations and forecasts highlight significant weather features affecting various parts of the country.

Key Weather Highlights:

  1. Madhya Pradesh and East Rajasthan: Heavy rainfall is expected to persist over Madhya Pradesh and East Rajasthan for the next 2-3 days, driven by the influence of a low-pressure area.
  2. Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand: Over the next 5 days, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand are likely to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall, raising concerns of potential flooding in these mountainous regions.
