Government-Led Special Campaign 3.0 Brings Agricultural Research Department and Its Affiliated Bodies into Full Gear
The Government of India’s Special Campaign 3.0 has rallied the Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE) and its affiliated organizations, including the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs), Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB), and three Central Agricultural Universities (CAUs) and their colleges, into active participation.
As part of this initiative, a total of 19,843 physical files and 4,717 electronic files were identified for review. Impressively, 11,062 physical files have already undergone meticulous scrutiny, while 5,470 physical files have been eliminated. Additionally, 2,618 electronic files have been successfully closed.
Furthermore, the campaign has set a target of conducting 3,326 “Special Campaign on Swachhata” activities throughout October 2023. Notably, 1,884 ‘Swachhata Campaigns’ have already been carried out, liberating approximately 87,475 square feet of space and generating revenue totaling Rs. 10,86,731/-. The campaign remains committed to achieving its set targets and is under continuous review, with progress monitored through high-level departmental review meetings.
The Special Campaign 3.0 is scheduled to continue until October 31, 2023, demonstrating a concerted effort to streamline and enhance the department’s operations while contributing to national goals.
