General Manager of East Central Railway Inspects Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express

Anil Kumar Khandelwal, General Manager of East Central Railway (ECR), conducted an inspection on the semi-high-speed Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express. The journey included assessing cleanliness, catering services, and interacting with passengers to gather feedback.

The inspection covered stations in Gaya, Nawada, Warsaliganj, and Bardh. Traveler facilities were scrutinized, and passengers expressed satisfaction with the modern amenities and comfort provided by the Vande Bharat train. During the inspection, DRM Jayant Kumar Choudhary and other officials were present.

The inspection extended to Gaya Station, where Khandelwal examined various passenger facilities developed at the station. He also reviewed the ongoing redevelopment work under the Amrit Bharat Station plan. The inspection further covered the construction work of Goods Shed Line and Sleeper Plant at Danapur Station.

In the subsequent phase, the General Manager inspected the Jhajha-Patna rail section, including the ongoing construction work at Ashokdham Station. Additionally, he thoroughly examined the facilities at Nawada and Warsaliganj stations, focusing on circulating areas, platforms, panel rooms, and ongoing construction of the main building’s passenger facilities.

Furthermore, Khandelwal conducted a detailed inspection of the ongoing work at Ashokdham Station on the Jhajha-Patna rail section. Simultaneously, he examined the platforms, circulating areas, crew lobby, and running room at Bardh Station..

The inspection aimed to ensure the quality and progress of various ongoing projects and to gather firsthand feedback from passengers on the Vande Bharat Express. The General Manager emphasized the commitment to providing enhanced facilities and comfort to passengers on East Central Railway route.
