Freight Train Derailment at Bagaha Station Disrupts Rail Services: Altered Routes and Partial Cancellations Announced
At 19:20 local time today, a freight train derailment at Bagaha Station in the Samastipur Mandal has disrupted train operations. In view of safety concerns, routes of trains passing through this railway section have been altered, leading to partial cancellations. Details of the alterations are as follows:
Trains to be Operated on Altered Routes from March 19, 2024:
- Train No. 15211 Darbhanga-Amritsar Jan Nayak Express will be diverted via Muzaffarpur-Hajipur-Chhapra Gramin-Gorakhpur route.
- Train No. 14009 Bapudham Motihari-Anand Vihar Champaran Satyagrah Express will be diverted via Muzaffarpur-Hajipur-Chhapra Gramin route.
Trains with Partial Cancellations/Commencement from March 19, 2024:
- Train No. 05449 Narkatiaganj-Gorakhpur Passenger will commence partially from Kapilvastu.
- Train No. 15201 Patliputra-Bagaha Intercity Express will have a partial termination at Narkatiaganj.
- Train No. 05039 Narkatiaganj-Nakaha Jungle Passenger will commence partially from Valmikinagar Road.
- Train No. 05498 Gorakhpur-Narkatiaganj Passenger will have a partial termination in the Northeastern Railway Zone.
- Train No. 05040 Gorakhpur-Narkatiaganj Passenger will have a partial termination at Valmikinagar Road.
- Train No. 05450 Nakaha Jungle-Narkatiaganj Passenger will have a partial termination at Kapilvastu.
Additionally, Train No. 15202 Bagaha-Patliputra Intercity Express scheduled for March 20, 2024, will depart from Narkatiaganj instead of Bagaha, heading towards Patliputra.
