Extension of Vande Bharat Festival Special Trains to Manage Festive Rush

In a move aimed at easing the travel experience for passengers during the ongoing festive season, Indian Railways has decided to extend the periodicity of the Vande Bharat Festival Special Trains. This decision comes in light of the increasing demand for rail travel during the peak holiday period, with the trains providing much-needed connectivity between key cities. The extended services are designed to accommodate the extra rush and offer enhanced convenience for passengers traveling to celebrate festivals with their families.

As per the announcement, the Vande Bharat Express between New Delhi and Patna will continue to run beyond its initially notified dates, with the following details:

Purpose and Importance of the Extension:

The decision to extend the periodicity of these Vande Bharat trains is part of Indian Railways’ efforts to manage the large influx of passengers during the festival season. The high-speed, modern Vande Bharat trains are expected to offer a faster, more comfortable travel experience, particularly on long-distance routes like New Delhi to Patna.

This extension will not only help reduce overcrowding but also ensure timely connectivity for people traveling to visit family and friends during this important time of the year. Passengers are encouraged to book their tickets in advance to secure seats on these extended services.
