To accommodate the increased demand from passengers, authorities have introduced special unreserved MEMU train services along the Chiplun – Panvel – Ratnagiri route:
- Chiplun – Panvel MEMU Unreserved Special (Train No. 01160):
Departing from Chiplun at 15:25 hrs on both Saturday, March 30, 2024, and Monday, April 1, 2024, the unreserved MEMU Special (Train No. 01160) is set to arrive at Panvel at 20:50 hrs on the same day. This service will make scheduled stops at Anjani, Khed, Kalambani Budruk, Diwankhavati, Vinhere, Karanjadi, Sape Wamne, Veer, Goregaon Road, Mangaon, Indapur, Kolad, Roha, Nidi, Nagothane, Kasu, Pen, Hamarapur, Jite, Apta, Rasayani, and Somatne stations.
- Panvel – Ratnagiri MEMU Unreserved Special (Train No. 01159):
Operating from Panvel at 21:00 hrs on both Saturday, March 30, 2024, and Monday, April 1, 2024, the unreserved MEMU Special (Train No. 01159) is scheduled to reach Ratnagiri at 04:35 hrs the following day. This service will make stops at Somatne, Rasayani, Apta, Jite, Hamarapur, Pen, Kasu, Nagothane, Nidi, Roha, Kolad, Indapur, Mangaon, Goregaon Road, Veer, Sape Wamne, Karanjadi, Vinhere, Diwankhavati, Kalambani Budruk, Khed, Anjani, Chiplun, Sawarda, Aravali Road, and Sangameshwar Road stations.
Composition of both MEMU Unreserved Specials: Consisting of a total of 08 car MEMU units.
