Dr. Bishwanath Tiwari Triumphs Again: Conquers 2nd Ironman Championship

New Delhi, August 22, 2023 – Dr. Bishwanath Tiwari, an esteemed Onco surgeon affiliated with the Northern Railway Central Hospital, has etched his name in the annals of sporting achievement once more. Already renowned as India’s pioneering surgeon to conquer the Ironman championship in Denmark last year, Dr. Tiwari has secured another remarkable victory by successfully completing the Ironman Championship for the second time. This triumphant feat took place on August 19, 2023, in Kalmar, Sweden.

The Ironman Championship, a grueling test of physical prowess and endurance, encompasses a staggering 3.8 kilometers of sea swimming, 180 kilometers of cycling, and a formidable 42 kilometers of running, all within a stringent time limit of 16 hours. However, Dr. Tiwari defied the odds, completing the arduous challenge in an impressive 14 hours and 33 minutes.
