Dhule Station in the Bhusawal Division is witnessing a transformative redevelopment project with an estimated cost of ₹9.49 crore, aimed at enhancing both infrastructure and passenger experience. The Central Railway (CR) is actively engaged in modernizing railway stations, aligning its efforts with the Amrit Station initiative.

As construction progresses, the following key aspects are currently underway:

  1. Construction of Circulating Area: The project includes the creation of a well-designed circulating area to improve the overall flow and accessibility within the station premises.
  2. Brickwork for Boundary Wall: A significant aspect of the redevelopment involves the construction of a boundary wall, enhancing security and delineating the station area.
  3. Steel Cutting & Column Binding Work for Entry Gate: The entry gate, being a crucial point for passengers, is undergoing steel cutting and column binding work to ensure a sturdy and aesthetically pleasing entrance.

Several milestones have already been achieved in the redevelopment initiative:

  1. Pavement Breaking for Circulating Area: The initial phase involved completing the pavement breaking process for the circulating area, setting the foundation for subsequent construction activities.
  2. Ground Beam Casting for Boundary Wall: The boundary wall’s structural components have seen progress with the completion of ground beam casting, contributing to the overall stability of the structure.
  3. Plinth Beam Casting for Entry Gate: The entry gate’s foundation has been reinforced with plinth beam casting, ensuring a strong and durable structure.
  4. Two-Wheeler & Four-Wheeler Leveling of Parking Area: The parking area is being revamped with a focus on providing leveled spaces for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers, optimizing the utility of the available space.

The redevelopment of Dhule Station reflects Central Railway’s commitment to modernization, aiming to create stations that not only meet contemporary standards but also offer an improved travel experience for passengers. The ongoing efforts are aligned with the broader vision of transforming railway stations into more efficient, passenger-friendly hubs under the Amrit Station initiative.
