Delhi Fire : Tragic Outcome in Sadar Area House Fire: Two Girls Pronounced Dead

In a heartbreaking turn of events, authorities have confirmed the tragic demise of two young girls following a devastating house fire in the Sadar area of Delhi.

The distressing incident unfolded when the Delhi Fire Service received an urgent call reporting a house fire at C-366 Amanat House near Sardar Basti, Sadar Bazar, Delhi. The call, timestamped at 1423/1424 hrs., indicated a dire situation, with individuals trapped inside the engulfed property.

Responding swiftly to the emergency, four fire tenders were dispatched to the scene, where firefighters encountered a harrowing scenario. Two girls, aged 15 and 13, were found trapped in the bathroom, their lives hanging in the balance.

With remarkable bravery and determination, personnel from the Delhi Fire Service swiftly intervened, breaking down the bathroom door to rescue the girls from the inferno. Despite their valiant efforts, the girls were critically injured in the blaze.

Tragically, despite the best efforts of medical professionals, both girls succumbed to their injuries. Police authorities have confirmed the devastating news, revealing that the girls were declared dead upon arrival at the hospital.

Preliminary investigations into the cause of the fire indicate that it originated in a recreational room within the property, which housed items such as a recliner, shear, and a mini-theatre. The blaze is suspected to have been triggered by a malfunction in the air conditioning unit.
