Central Railway Vigilance Team Dismantles Fake Recruitment Racket, Apprehends Fraudulent Handler
In a meticulously executed operation, the Central Railway Vigilance Team successfully exposed and apprehended a key player in a fake recruitment racket on December 13, 2023.
A specialized team comprising Vigilance Officials and Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel strategically set a trap to apprehend the fake recruitment handler at Ghatkopar station, within the Mumbai division. The perpetrator was caught red-handed with the bribe amount, marking a significant breakthrough in the investigation.
A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered by the Government Railway Police in Kurla under sections IPC-420 and 34. Ongoing investigations aim to identify and apprehend other individuals involved in this fraudulent recruitment racket.
