Bravery and Service Recognized: Northern Command’s Investiture Ceremony
Under the banner of “Nation comes First, Always and Every time,” Lieutenant General MV Suchindra Kumar, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, VSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief Northern Command, will preside over a significant ceremony on March 21, 2024, in Prayagraj.
The ceremony will honor 58 individuals for acts of exceptional bravery and distinguished service to the nation. Among the accolades to be conferred are 1 Yudh Seva Medal, 45 Sena Medals (Gallantry), 3 Sena Medals (Distinguished), and 9 Vishisht Seva Medals. Additionally, 64 units will be recognized for their outstanding professionalism and remarkable achievements.
The Northern Command Investiture Ceremony 2024 holds special significance, highlighting the commendable contributions of the Dhruva Command. This event underscores the valor and commitment of individuals and units serving in the Northern Command, reinforcing their dedication to the nation’s defense and security.
