Bihar Train Fire: Holi Special Engulfed, No Casualties Reported
Ara, Bihar: A Holi special train turned into a burning inferno in Bihar’s Ara, with several coaches engulfed in flames. The incident occurred near the Karisath station, just a short distance from the Ara junction on the Danapur-Pt. Deen Dayal Rail section. The blaze erupted suddenly aboard the 01410 Patna-Delhi Holi Special train, consuming three coaches in its wake.
Fortunately, no casualties or injuries have been reported among passengers. Railway officials and police rushed to the scene to control the fire, but by then, two coaches had been completely reduced to ashes. DRM ,Danapur Rail Division, Jayant Chaudhary, stated that upon receiving the fire alert, officials promptly arrived at the scene and managed to contain the flames with the help of local villagers, despite limited time and resources.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, with concerns raised about a possible short circuit. The number of passengers on the train was relatively low due to Holi festivities, ensuring that no lives were lost or injuries sustained in the incident.
