Job Overview

As a member of our Cabin Crew, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, security, and service excellence of Air India’s flights. Your commitment will provide passengers with a world-class inflight experience.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this exciting opportunity, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be an Indian National holding a current Indian passport, PAN card, and Aadhar card.
  • Be between 18-27 years for freshers and up to 35 years for experienced crew.
  • Have a minimum educational qualification of completing class 12 from a recognized board/university with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • Meet the minimum height requirement for females: 155 cm.
  • Maintain weight in proportion to height.
  • Have a BMI range within 18 to 22 for female candidates.
  • Be well-groomed with no visible tattoos in uniform.
  • Be fluent in both English and Hindi.
  • Have 6/6 vision.

On the Day of Interview

  • Attire: Western formals
  • Please bring an updated resume on the day of the interview.
  • Experienced candidates are requested to carry a copy of their SEP cards.

Skills and Attributes

We expect our Cabin Crew to represent Air India professionally, with a warm, caring, and empathetic demeanor. You should maintain up-to-date knowledge of current safety and security requirements, service procedures, and company policies. Compliance with all DGCA regulations and the ability to keep required licenses up-to-date is essential. Additionally, you must remain medically fit and adhere to rest regulations to fulfill flying duties.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a Cabin Crew member include:

  • Safety and security-related duties.
  • Conducting safety equipment checks.
  • Performing safety demonstrations for guests before take-off.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety procedures throughout the flight.
  • Managing emergency situations, including first aid and emergency evacuations.
  • Inflight service duties, such as pre-boarding tasks, boarding assistance, and inflight sales and service.
  • Maintaining clean and replenished aircraft cabins and toilets during flights.
  • Making announcements and addressing guest queries during the flight.
  • Ensuring orderly disembarkation of guests after landing.

Administrative Duties

  • Attendance at mandatory pre-flight briefings.
  • Preparation of reports on flight incidents, including safety, service, and security incidents.
