Agniveer Course at Brigade of the Guards Regimental Centre Attains Historic Attestation

First Batch of Agniveer Recruits Takes Oath of Allegiance in a Memorable Ceremony

Dogra Regimental Centre, June 17, 2023: In a remarkable ceremony that blended simplicity with elegance, 55 recruits of the first batch of Agniveer pledged their unwavering loyalty to the nation, committing to serve in any terrain, be it by Land, Sea, or Air. The historic event took place at the Dogra Regimental Centre, marking a significant milestone for Agniveer.

The maiden Agniveer Course, conducted at the Brigade of the Guards Regimental Centre in Kamptee, witnessed the attestation of a total of 115 recruits belonging to Batch 1 of Agniveers. The ceremony was graced by the presence of family and loved ones who traveled from various parts of the country to witness this momentous occasion.

The recruits of Agniveer, with utmost solemnity, took an oath to protect the motherland at all costs. Their dedication and unwavering commitment to safeguarding the nation were evident as they embarked on this noble journey.

Presiding over the attestation parade was Brigadier K Anand, the Commandant of the Guards Regimental Centre in Kamptee. His distinguished presence added significance to the event, inspiring the recruits to embrace their roles as guardians of the nation with honor and integrity.
