New Delhi G20 Summit Paves the Way for Human-Centric and Inclusive Development, Says PM Modi
New Delhi, India – Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while expressing his optimism, believes that the New Delhi G20 Summit will usher in a fresh era of human-centric and inclusive development. Under India’s G20 Presidency, the nation has demonstrated inclusiveness, ambition, decisiveness, and a strong commitment to taking action on pressing global issues, particularly those concerning the Global South.
Drawing inspiration from Mahatma Gandhi’s mission of serving the underprivileged, Prime Minister Modi stressed that India is dedicated to advancing progress through a human-centric approach.
In his address, Prime Minister Modi revealed that he will chair sessions on ‘One Earth,’ ‘One Family,’ and ‘One Future,’ addressing a wide array of critical issues that concern the global community. These discussions will center on the promotion of robust, sustainable, inclusive, and equitable growth worldwide. Additionally, the Prime Minister mentioned his intent to hold bilateral meetings with various leaders and Heads of Delegation to strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister disclosed that the President will host a dinner for the leaders on September 9, 2023. In a gesture of reverence and solidarity, leaders will pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat on September 10, 2023. The Closing Ceremony on the same day will provide G20 Leaders with an opportunity to collectively articulate their vision for a sustainable and equitable ‘One Future,’ echoing the spirit of unity as ‘One Family,’ and striving for a healthier ‘One Earth.’
