National Homoeopathy Conference in Kottayam Marks World Mental Health Day 2025

The National Homoeopathy Research Institute in Mental Health (NHRIMH), under the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH), Ministry of AYUSH, organised a two-day National Homoeopathy Conference from 10–11 October 2025 to mark World Mental Health Day. The event focused on the theme “Access to Services – Mental Health in Catastrophes and Emergencies.”
Experts, researchers, and practitioners from across India discussed the role of Homoeopathy in psychiatric emergencies and its integration into disaster and emergency mental health care. Chetan Kumar Meena, IAS, District Collector of Kottayam, attended as Guest of Honour, highlighting the importance of making mental health services accessible during crises.
The conference featured scientific sessions on trauma response, resilience, community-based interventions, and evidence-based homoeopathic treatments for disorders such as PTSD, ADHD, autism, and depression. It concluded with a call for integrative, research-driven, and inclusive mental health frameworks.
