Prime Minister Addresses Rozgar Mela, Distributes 51,000 Appointment Letters to Recruits

In a significant development, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Rozgar Mela today, where he distributed approximately 51,000 appointment letters to newly recruited individuals. The event, conducted via video conferencing, marked a major milestone in the country’s efforts to boost employment.

The newly inducted recruits, hailing from diverse regions across the nation, are set to join various Central Government Ministries and Departments, including the Department of Posts, Indian Audit & Accounts Department, Department of Atomic Energy, Department of Revenue, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, among others. This massive recruitment drive is part of the government’s commitment to providing meaningful employment opportunities to the country’s youth.

During his address, Prime Minister Modi commended the dedication and hard work of the appointees, emphasizing that they had been chosen from a vast pool of candidates. Drawing parallels with the ongoing Ganesh Utsav festivities, he referred to the occasion as a “Shri Ganesh” moment, symbolizing a new beginning in the lives of these recruits.

The Prime Minister also highlighted the historic achievements taking place in the country, particularly mentioning the Narishakti Vandan Adhiniyam, which has empowered women by ensuring reservations for them. He lauded the fact that this long-pending issue was resolved during the first session of the new Parliament, marking a new era for the nation.

Prime Minister Modi acknowledged the significant role of women among the newly recruited individuals and expressed pride in their accomplishments. He stressed that women’s participation in various sectors has always led to positive transformations.

Speaking about India’s aspirations, he mentioned the nation’s commitment to becoming a developed nation by 2047. The Prime Minister underlined that government employees have a pivotal role to play in achieving this goal, urging them to prioritize citizens and utilize technology to enhance governance efficiency.

Prime Minister Modi also discussed the impact of technology in governance, highlighting its role in curbing corruption, simplifying processes, and increasing convenience for citizens. He encouraged the new recruits to contribute to further advancements in this direction.

Reflecting on the government’s policies, the Prime Minister emphasized a new mindset, constant monitoring, mission-driven implementation, and mass participation as key drivers of success. He cited examples such as the Swachh Bharat and Jal Jeevan Mission campaigns, demonstrating the government’s commitment to achieving saturation in various projects.

He noted that government employees play a critical role in implementing policies at the ground level, emphasizing their importance in shaping the nation’s future. The Prime Minister mentioned the significant economic growth and increased production and exports in recent years, highlighting the investment in modern infrastructure, renewable energy, organic farming, defense, and tourism.

Prime Minister Modi concluded by urging the recruits to prioritize teamwork and emphasized the importance of the next 25 years in shaping the nation’s destiny. He encouraged them to continue learning through the iGOT Karmyogi Portal, emphasizing their role in contributing to India’s development.

The Rozgar Mela, held at 46 locations across the country, signifies the government’s commitment to employment generation and youth empowerment. It provides a platform for meaningful opportunities for India’s youth, aligning with the Prime Minister’s vision for a developed nation in the years to come.

Additionally, the newly recruited individuals have the opportunity to enhance their skills through the Karmayogi Prarambh program, featuring over 680 e-learning courses accessible via the iGOT Karmayogi portal.
