Inspection of New Construction Offices at Kodarma Station by East Central Railway General Manager, Anupam Sharma

Anupam Sharma, the General Manager of East Central Railway, conducted an inspection of the newly constructed buildings at Kodarma Station in the Dhanbad Division on August 11, 2023. During the visit, the General Manager inspected the ground floor booking offices (UTS, PRS, Inquiry Counters), Foot Over Bridge, Second Class Waiting Hall, VIP Lounge on the first floor, First Class Waiting Hall, Retiring Room, and the open area construction works for the cafeteria on the fourth floor.
During the inspection, Anupam Sharma was accompanied by Kamal Kishor Sinha, the Divisional Railway Manager of Dhanbad, and other officials from the division.
After the inspection, the General Manager proceeded to the Dhanbad Division Railway Manager’s office. Under his chairmanship, a review meeting was held with the officials of the Dhanbad Division. This review meeting involved detailed discussions on topics such as efficiency, fundamental structures, multi-tracking, SHD signals, improvements in works, new sidings, and enhancement of amenities.
The visit and review meeting aimed to ensure the progress and quality of ongoing construction projects at Kodarma Station, and to further enhance the infrastructure and services provided to passengers.
