As per the directions of Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, a Railway War Room has been set up in the Ministry of Railways. The Railway War Room is designed to handle passenger grievances round the clock, with a team working 24×7 to address complaints and issues faced by railway passengers.
Located in the Rail Bhawan in New Delhi, the Railway War Room will operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This facility will provide a platform for railway passengers to register their complaints and concerns, which will be promptly addressed by the dedicated team.
The establishment of the Railway War Room has been hailed as a major step towards improving the overall passenger experience on Indian Railways. The initiative will ensure that passengers receive timely and efficient resolution of their grievances, which will help enhance the credibility and reliability of the Indian Railways.
The Railway War Room will operate as a centralized system, where complaints will be received through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and social media platforms. The complaints will then be directed to the relevant officials for resolution. The system is designed to ensure that complaints are resolved within a specific time frame, and the progress of the resolution will be communicated to the passengers.
In a recent interview, Siddharth, the editor of a leading news station, lauded the initiative and emphasized the importance of such systems in addressing the grievances of the public. He also highlighted the need for greater awareness among the public about the availability of such grievance redressal mechanisms.
With the establishment of the Railway War Room, Indian Railways has taken a significant step towards ensuring a hassle-free and comfortable travel experience for its passengers.
