Ajni Station Undergoes Major Upgradation and Redevelopment: Progress Update
Ajni Station is currently undergoing a significant transformation with a total project cost of 297.79 Crores. As of the latest update:
Physical Progress: The project has achieved a 4% physical progress.
Financial Progress: Financially, 3.08 Crores have been utilized for the project.
Completed Works:
- Soil investigation has been successfully conducted.
- A site lab has been established.
- Labour hutments are in place.
- Dismantling of 23 old quarters and abandoned structures is completed.
- PCC (Plain Cement Concrete) and foundation work, including column casting, has been accomplished.
- Excavation work on the East Side station building is finished.
- Batching plant installation and calibration are completed.
- Safety park installation is done.
- An extension of the west side parking area has been executed.
Works in Progress:
- Foundation work on the East Side is currently underway.
- The installation of a weighbridge is in progress.
- Excavation and PCC work for footing on the west side are ongoing.
