Commissioner of Railway Safety to Inspect Newly Doubled Bagaha-Valmikinagar Rail Section
Bagaha, Bihar, September 15, 2023 – The Commissioner of Railway Safety for the Eastern Region in Kolkata is scheduled to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the recently doubled Bagaha-Valmikinagar rail section on September 15, 2023, as part of the broader Sugauli-Valmikinagar doubling project. Concurrently, a high-speed trial run will be executed from Valmikinagar to Bagaha station using a dedicated special train. During this period, it is imperative for all individuals to steer clear of the railway tracks as it will be unsafe for public access.
In light of these safety concerns, the general public is strongly advised to maintain a safe distance from the vicinity of the railway tracks. The railway authorities emphasize that they will not be liable for any accidents or incidents resulting from non-compliance with this safety directive.
It is noteworthy that significant progress has been achieved under the Sugauli-Valmikinagar doubling project, with 41 kilometers of double-tracking work already completed. An additional 9 kilometers of double-tracking on the Bagaha-Valmikinagar rail section have now been finished and are set to undergo inspection by the Commissioner of Railway Safety.
