New Vande Bharat Express Service to Commence between Gorakhpur and Lucknow
Gorakhpur: A new Vande Bharat Express service has been inaugurated between Gorakhpur and Lucknow. This train will operate six days a week, excluding Saturdays, starting from July 9, 2023.
The Indian Railways has announced the operation of the 22549/22550 Gorakhpur-Lucknow-Gorakhpur Vande Bharat Express, which will run six days a week (excluding Saturdays) between Gorakhpur and Lucknow. This decision has been taken to enhance the convenience of rail passengers.
The regular service of train number 22549 Gorakhpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express will commence on July 9, 2023. The train will depart from Gorakhpur at 06:05 AM and arrive in Lucknow at 10:20 AM on the same day. The return journey of train number 22550 Lucknow-Gorakhpur Vande Bharat Express will also commence on July 9, 2023. This train will depart from Lucknow at 07:15 PM and arrive in Gorakhpur at 11:25 PM on the same day. The 22549/22550 Gorakhpur-Lucknow-Gorakhpur Vande Bharat Express will operate six days a week, excluding Saturdays.
The train will make stops at both directions at the Basti and Ayodhya stations along the route.
Inaugural Service of Train Number 02549 Gorakhpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express
On July 7, 2023, the inaugural service of the 02549 Gorakhpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express will be launched. The train will depart from Gorakhpur at 03:40 PM and arrive in Lucknow at 08:30 PM on the same day. The train will make stops at Sahajanwa, Khalilabad, Basti, Babhnan, Manakapur, Ayodhya, and Barabanki stations along the route.
