Summer Special Train to Operate between Samastipur and Amritsar

The railway authorities have announced the operation of a special train, the Samar Special, between Samastipur and Amritsar. This decision has been taken to enhance passenger convenience and alleviate the additional rush. The train will run as follows:

05273/05274 Samastipur-Amritsar-Samastipur (Weekly) Special Train (8 trips)

The 05273 Samastipur-Amritsar Special Train will depart from Samastipur every Tuesday, starting from June 6, 2023, at 11:00 PM, and arrive in Amritsar on the third day at 02:20 AM. On the return journey, the 05274 Amritsar-Samastipur Special Train will depart from Amritsar every Thursday, starting from June 8, 2023, at 12:45 PM, and reach Samastipur on the next day at 03:00 PM.

This special train will have air-conditioned sleeper coaches and general class coaches. It will halt at stations including Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, Chhapra, Gorakhpur, Basti, Gonda, Sitapur, Muradabad, Saharanpur, Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana, Jalandhar City, and Beas in both directions.
