Pataliputra-Lucknow Express and Pataliputra-Gorakhpur Express to Have Temporary Halts at Shamkauria and Rajapatti Stations
In a move to enhance passenger convenience, the East Central Railway has decided to introduce a temporary halt of 2 minutes at Shamkauria and Rajapatti stations for the 12529/12530 Pataliputra-Lucknow Express and the 15079/15080 Pataliputra-Gorakhpur Express, respectively, on an experimental basis:
- The 12529 Pataliputra-Lucknow Junction Express, departing from Pataliputra, will now arrive at Ekma station at 18:30 hours and depart at 18:32 hours, starting from May 30, 2023.
- The 12530 Lucknow Junction-Pataliputra Express, departing from Lucknow Junction, will now arrive at Ekma station at 12:34 hours and depart at 12:36 hours, starting from May 30, 2023.
- The 15079 Pataliputra-Gorakhpur Express, departing from Pataliputra, will now arrive at Shamkauria station at 18:15 hours and depart at 18:17 hours, starting from June 10, 2023.
- The 15080 Gorakhpur-Pataliputra Express, departing from Gorakhpur, will now arrive at Shamkauria station at 08:29 hours and depart at 08:31 hours, starting from June 10, 2023.
- The 15079 Pataliputra-Gorakhpur Express, departing from Pataliputra, will now arrive at Rajapatti station at 18:38 hours and depart at 18:40 hours, starting from June 1, 2023.
- The 15080 Gorakhpur-Pataliputra Express, departing from Gorakhpur, will now arrive at Rajapatti station at 08:06 hours and depart at 08:08 hours, starting from June 1, 2023.
This experimental arrangement aims to provide increased convenience to passengers traveling on these routes. Commuters are advised to take note of the revised timings, as this temporary stoppage will be in effect during the specified dates.
