Namo Bharat Rapid Rail, Jogbani–Danapur Intercity to Halt at Laheriasarai
Passengers travelling through Laheriasarai station in Samastipur Division of East Central Railway will get additional connectivity options with the introduction of scheduled halts for the Jaynagar–Patna Namo Bharat Rapid Rail and Jogbani–Danapur Intercity Express.
The railway has decided to provide a two-minute scheduled halt to both train services at Laheriasarai station to facilitate passengers and improve access to the services for people travelling to and from the Darbhanga region.
The revised stoppage arrangements will come into effect from October 2, 2026, for the Namo Bharat Rapid Rail, while the Jogbani–Danapur Intercity Express will receive the new halt from October 5, 2026.
Namo Bharat Rapid Rail to Get Two-Minute Halt
Under the revised timetable, Train No. 94803 Jaynagar–Patna Namo Bharat Rapid Rail will stop at Laheriasarai from October 2.
The train will arrive at Laheriasarai at 6:28 am and depart at 6:30 am, providing passengers with a two-minute boarding and alighting window.
The corresponding Train No. 94804 Patna–Jaynagar Namo Bharat Rapid Rail will also stop at the station.
It will arrive at Laheriasarai at 9:38 pm and depart at 9:40 pm.
The new stoppage will provide passengers at Laheriasarai with access to both the morning Jaynagar–Patna service and the evening Patna–Jaynagar service.
The introduction of the halt is expected to benefit passengers travelling between the Darbhanga region and destinations along the Jaynagar–Patna route.
Jogbani–Danapur Intercity Also Gets Stoppage
The railway has also approved a two-minute halt for Train No. 13211/13212 Jogbani–Danapur–Jogbani Intercity Express at Laheriasarai.
The revised arrangement will come into effect from October 5, 2026.
Train No. 13211 Jogbani–Danapur Intercity Express will arrive at Laheriasarai at 10:01 am and depart at 10:03 am.
In the opposite direction, Train No. 13212 Danapur–Jogbani Intercity Express will arrive at Laheriasarai at 10:43 am and leave the station at 10:45 am.
The new stoppage will give passengers travelling between the Jogbani and Danapur sectors an additional boarding and alighting point at Laheriasarai.

The railway’s decision is aimed at improving passenger convenience by providing scheduled stoppages for two important services at Laheriasarai, a key station in the region.
For passengers, the additional halts mean that the services can now be used more conveniently for journeys originating from or terminating at Laheriasarai, without having to travel to another station to access these trains.
The Namo Bharat Rapid Rail services will provide a morning connection towards Patna and an evening connection towards Jaynagar, while the Jogbani–Danapur Intercity Express services will offer daytime connectivity in both directions.
The two-minute stoppage has been incorporated into the respective train schedules, with passengers expected to plan boarding and alighting accordingly.
The changes will take effect in stages, beginning with the Namo Bharat Rapid Rail services on October 2, followed by the Jogbani–Danapur Intercity Express from October 5, 2026.
The addition of these stoppages is part of the railway’s efforts to improve passenger accessibility and provide more convenient travel options through stations within Samastipur Division.
