Northern Railway GM Rajesh Kumar Pandey Conducts Comprehensive Inspection of Moradabad Division

General Manager of Northern Railway, Rajesh Kumar Pandey, conducted a comprehensive inspection of the Moradabad Division on Thursday to review development works, passenger amenities, and preparations for the upcoming Ardh Kumbh-2027 in Haridwar.
The inspection was attended by Divisional Railway Manager, Moradabad, Vinita Srivastava, along with senior railway officials.
The General Manager began his visit with a meeting at the Manan Auditorium in the Divisional Office, Moradabad, where he reviewed ongoing infrastructure projects, passenger facilities, and the railway’s preparations for the massive religious gathering expected during Ardh Kumbh-2027. He also issued necessary directions to officials.
During the inspection, Mr. Pandey visited Rampur Railway Station and reviewed redevelopment works being carried out under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. He inspected the ticket booking office, passenger waiting halls, and other facilities available to passengers.
Later, he reached Bareilly Railway Station, where he inspected the station premises, parcel office, booking office, platforms, and circulating area, directing officials to further improve passenger convenience and station management.
The General Manager also inspected reconstruction works at Shahjahanpur Railway Station under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. He stressed the importance of maintaining high construction quality and ensuring better passenger amenities while directing officials to complete the redevelopment work within the stipulated timeframe.
At Hardoi Railway Station, he reviewed station redevelopment activities, platforms, passenger facilities, and cleanliness arrangements. He instructed officials to maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and passenger services while expediting the ongoing works.
As part of his inspection programme, Mr. Pandey conducted a window trailing inspection from Moradabad to Lucknow, reviewing railway tracks, signalling systems, overhead equipment (OHE), and safety arrangements at level crossing gates.
Reviewing the progress of development projects across all stations, the Northern Railway General Manager emphasized that providing safe, convenient, and high-quality railway services to passengers remains the top priority of Northern Railway.
