Indian Railways Extends Extra Coaches in Panchaganga Express Till July 2026

Indian Railways has extended the temporary augmentation of extra coaches in select trains to manage the increased passenger rush during the upcoming travel season. The South Western Railway announced that additional coaches will continue to be attached to the trains from June 1 to July 2, 2026, offering more seats and improved travel convenience for passengers.
Under the revised arrangement, Train No. 16595/16596 KSR Bengaluru–Karwar–KSR Bengaluru Panchaganga Express will receive two AC 3-Tier Economy coaches, one Sleeper coach, and two General coaches. After augmentation, the train will operate with a total of 19 LHB coaches. The additional coaches will be available in Train No. 16595 departing from KSR Bengaluru from June 1 to July 1, 2026, and in Train No. 16596 departing from Karwar from June 2 to July 2, 2026.
Similarly, temporary augmentation has also been extended for Train No. 01595/01596 Karwar–Madgaon Junction–Karwar Special from June 2 to July 2, 2026.
Railway officials said the move has been taken to accommodate the extra rush of passengers and ensure smoother travel during the peak period. Passengers can check detailed halt and timing information on the official Indian Railways enquiry portal.
