IRCTC Announces 20% Discount on Buddhist Circuit Tourist Train Package

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation has announced an exclusive promotional offer on its flagship Buddhist Circuit Special Tourist Train, providing a 20% discount on select departures scheduled for December 19, 2026; January 2, 2027; February 20, 2027; and March 20, 2027. The offer aims to boost spiritual tourism by making the premium यात्रा more accessible to domestic and international travellers.

The all-inclusive 7 Nights and 8 Days tour originates from Safdarjung Railway Station and covers key destinations associated with the life and teachings of Gautama Buddha. The itinerary includes visits to Bodh Gaya, Nalanda via Rajgir, Varanasi including Sarnath, Lumbini, Kushinagar, and Shravasti. The journey concludes with a visit to the iconic Taj Mahal in Agra, blending spiritual exploration with cultural heritage.

The tour is conducted on a fully air-conditioned deluxe train featuring 12 modern LHB coaches equipped with advanced safety features and passenger-friendly amenities. Travellers can choose between AC First Class and AC Two Tier categories, both offering spacious cabins, enhanced comfort, and onboard facilities such as individual lockers in AC-I coaches.
