BECIL, C-DAC Ink MoU to Boost Collaboration in Advanced Technologies and Digital Transformation

Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited (BECIL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) to strengthen collaboration in advanced technologies, digital transformation, and capacity building, marking a significant step toward accelerating India’s technological advancement.
The agreement aims to foster joint initiatives in cutting-edge domains such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Internet of Things (IoT), cyber security, 5G, and cloud computing. Both organisations will work together on project implementation, consultancy services, and technical support, while also developing innovative and scalable technology solutions for various sectors.
As part of the collaboration, BECIL and C-DAC will focus on delivering turnkey solutions tailored to industry and government requirements. The partnership is also expected to facilitate technology transfer and promote the commercialization of innovative products developed through joint efforts. This move is seen as a strategic alignment of capabilities to address emerging technological challenges and opportunities in India.
The MoU was formally signed by Capt. (IN) Saurav Chauhan (Retd), Director (Operations & Maintenance), BECIL, and Niranjan Vaishnav, Registrar, C-DAC, in the presence of senior officials from both organisations.
Speaking on the occasion, BECIL Chairman and Managing Director Cmde D.K. Murali (Retd.) highlighted the significance of the partnership, stating that the collaboration would enhance BECIL’s capabilities in advanced technologies and digital transformation. He emphasized that by leveraging the complementary strengths of both organisations, the initiative aims to deliver impactful and future-ready solutions.
Industry experts believe that such collaborations between public sector enterprises and research institutions are crucial for building a robust innovation ecosystem in the country. With India rapidly advancing toward becoming a global digital hub, partnerships like this are expected to play a vital role in strengthening indigenous technological capabilities.
