Jaisalmer–Shakur Basti Superfast Express Flagged Off; Regular Services Begin From December 1

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Union Culture & Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat flagged off the Jaisalmer–Shakur Basti Superfast Express, marking a significant boost to connectivity between the Thar Desert region and Delhi.
The new service is expected to give a major push to tourism in western Rajasthan, particularly Jaisalmer, one of India’s most popular desert destinations.
Indian Railways announced that for the convenience of passengers, the Shakur Basti–Jaisalmer–Shakur Basti Superfast Express (Train No. 12249/12250) will operate regularly as per the schedule below.
