Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu Launches Alliance Air’s “Fare Se Fursat” Fixed Airfare Scheme

Union Minister for Civil Aviation Rammohan Naidu Kinjarapu today launched “Fare Se Fursat”, a landmark initiative by government-owned regional carrier Alliance Air. The scheme introduces a single, fixed airfare that remains constant regardless of the booking date—even on the day of travel.

Implemented on a pilot basis from October 13 to December 31, 2025, across select routes, the scheme aims to promote affordable and predictable air travel. The Minister said the initiative supports Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of democratising aviation under the UDAN scheme, making flying accessible to the middle and lower-middle classes.

Highlighting Alliance Air’s role as the backbone of regional connectivity, Naidu called the initiative a bold step toward transparency and passenger welfare. The scheme is expected to attract first-time flyers from smaller towns, reinforcing the goal of “Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik.”
