GATE and JAM 2025 Exams for Prayagraj Candidates Shifted to Lucknow Amid Mahakumbh
New Delhi: Due to the massive influx of devotees expected for the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, the GATE 2025 and JAM 2025 exams scheduled for February 1st and 2nd, 2025, will now be conducted in Lucknow on the same dates.
The GATE Organising Institute (IIT Roorkee) and the JAM Organising Institute (IIT Delhi) announced that representations from candidates had expressed concerns about difficulty in reaching examination centres in Prayagraj due to the Mahakumbh congregation. As a result, the exams will now be shifted to Lucknow for the affected candidates.
