Railways to Operate Weekly Festival Special Trains for Diwali, Dussehra, and Chhath

In a bid to accommodate the increased passenger demand during the Diwali, Dussehra, and Chhath festivals, Indian Railways has announced the operation of Weekly Festival Special trains on the Banaras–Anand Vihar Terminal route.

The special train service will include the following schedule:

Train 05037: Banaras to Anand Vihar Terminal

  • Operates from October 29 to November 12, 2024, every Tuesday.
  • Departure from Banaras: 19:20
  • Arrival at Anand Vihar Terminal: 09:35

Train 05038: Anand Vihar Terminal to Banaras

  • Operates from October 30 to November 13, 2024, every Wednesday.
  • Departure from Anand Vihar Terminal: 01:10
  • Arrival at Banaras: 06:30

  • Bhadohi: Arrival 20:06, Departure 20:08
  • Pratapgarh Junction (Maa Belha Devi Dham): Arrival 21:30, Departure 21:35
  • Amethi: Arrival 22:08, Departure 22:10
  • Rae Bareli Junction: Arrival 23:00, Departure 23:05
  • Lucknow: Arrival 00:55, Departure 01:05
  • Bareilly (NR): Arrival 04:35, Departure 04:37
  • Moradabad: Arrival 06:20, Departure 06:30

Passengers are encouraged to book their tickets in advance to secure their travel during this festive season.
