Northern Railway Implements Traffic Block, Adjusts Train Schedules

Safety Measures Lead to Temporary Regulation, Rescheduling, and Short-Terminations on Jammu Routes

In order to ensure the safety and convenience of rail passengers, the Northern Railway has implemented a traffic block for the pushing of a box using the normal air pushing method and the installation of a service girder on Bridge No. 173. This work is being carried out on the Down Line between Vijiypur Jammu and Samba, specifically at km 69/22-18, between the Bharoli Junction and Jammu Tawi sections.

As a result of these operations, several trains will experience temporary regulation, rescheduling, short-termination, and short-origination. The details are as follows:

    • Rescheduled By: 180 minutes from Katra
  2. Train No. 22318 – Jammu Tawi – Sealdah Humsafar
    • Date: 23rd October 2024
    • Regulated By: 90 minutes from Jammu Tawi

Short Termination of Train

  1. Train No. 19225 – Bhagat Ki Kothi – Jammu Tawi Express
    • Date: 22nd October 2024
    • Short-Terminated At: Pathankot

Short Origination of Train

  1. Train No. 19224 – Jammu Tawi – Gandhinagar Capital Express
    • Date: 23rd October 2024
    • Short-Originated From: Pathankot
