Expansion of Special Train Services between Gaya and Anand Vihar to Accommodate Passenger Rush

In response to the overwhelming demand from passengers, the Indian Railways has extended the operational period of the Gaya-Anand Vihar-Gaya Superfast Special train (train numbers 03639/03640). This move aims to facilitate smoother travel between Gaya and Anand Vihar amidst the surge in travelers.

The extended schedule includes an additional four runs of the special train, with details as follows:

  1. Train Number 03639: The Gaya-Anand Vihar Superfast Special will now operate on May 24, 26, 28, and 30, 2024. Departing from Gaya at 18:00, the train will traverse through Sasaram, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction (DDU), Prayagraj, and Kanpur, reaching Anand Vihar at 09:15 the following day.
  2. Train Number 03640: The Anand Vihar-Gaya Superfast Special will run on May 25, 27, 29, and 31, 2024. Departing from Anand Vihar at 12:00, the train will pass through Kanpur, Prayagraj, DDU, and Sasaram, arriving at Gaya at 05:00 the next day.
