Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Launch Ambitious Development Projects in Madhya Pradesh on February 11th
Madhya Pradesh is gearing up for a landmark visit by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 11th, 2024, as he is set to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for multiple transformative projects worth approximately Rs 7500 crores in Jhabua.
Aligned with the vision of ‘Antyodaya’, which focuses on ensuring the benefits of development reach every segment of society, particularly the tribal communities, the Prime Minister will unveil initiatives aimed at uplifting these marginalized sections.
Among the highlights, Prime Minister Modi will disburse monthly instalments of Aahar Anudan to around two lakh women beneficiaries from specially backward tribes, providing them with Rs 1500 per month for nutritious food under the Aahar Anudan Yojna.
Additionally, he will distribute 1.75 lakh Adhikar Abhilekh (record of rights) to beneficiaries of the SVAMITVA Scheme, granting them documentary evidence of land ownership.
A significant milestone will be the foundation stone laying ceremony for the Tantya Mama Bhil University, a dedicated institution designed to cater to youth from districts with high tribal concentration. This university, with an estimated cost of Rs 170 crore, aims to provide world-class infrastructure for holistic student development.
Furthermore, Prime Minister Modi will allocate Rs. 55.9 crores for 559 villages under the Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana, facilitating various construction activities to enhance village infrastructure.
The event will also witness the launch of multiple road and rail projects aimed at bolstering connectivity and infrastructure development across the state. Notable among them are the redevelopment of Ratlam and Meghnagar railway stations under the Amrit Bharat station scheme, doubling of the Indore-Dewas-Ujjain C cabin railway line, and various road development projects totaling more than Rs 3275 crore.
The Prime Minister will also dedicate initiatives focusing on water supply, education, and environmental sustainability, reflecting a holistic approach to development.
This significant visit underscores the government’s commitment to inclusive growth and comprehensive development in Madhya Pradesh.
