Special Train Service Introduced Between Badgam and Banihal (Total 184 trips)
Railway authorities have announced the operation of a special train service between Badgam and Banihal, totaling 184 trips. This decision aims to enhance the convenience for rail passengers and alleviate additional crowding.
The special train service, numbered 04688/04687, will run as follows:
- Train No. 04688 Badgam–Banihal Special:
- Commencing from January 19, 2024, to March 31, 2024.
- Departure from Badgam at 09:10 AM, reaching Banihal the same day at 11:05 AM.
- Train No. 04687 Banihal–Badgam Special:
- Commencing from January 19, 2024, to March 31, 2024.
- Departure from Banihal at 04:50 PM, arriving at Badgam the same day at 06:35 PM.
The special train service will make stops in both directions at Shrinagar, Avantipura, Anantnag, and Kazi Gund stations along the route. This initiative is expected to facilitate smoother travel for passengers and contribute to the overall efficiency of rail transportation in the region.
