Traffic Block on Delhi Division Leads to Train Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Regulations

In response to a 2.40-hour power and traffic block for the initiation of protective measures related to box pushing work in the construction of a Limited Height Subway (LHS) in place of Level Crossing no. 91 between Kurukshetra and Dhoda Kheri Stations on the Delhi-Ambala Cantt. Section over Delhi Division, several trains are set to be affected. The following adjustments have been made:

Cancellation of Trains:

  • Train number 04596/04595 Ambala Cantt. Kurukshetra-Ambala Cantt. Special, scheduled for January 19, 2024, stands temporarily cancelled.

Rescheduling of Trains:

  1. Train number 22451 Bandra Terminus-Amritsar Express, originally planned for January 18, 2024, will be rescheduled to depart at 14:00 hrs from Bandra Terminus, experiencing a delay of 120 minutes.
  2. Train number 12046 Chandigarh-New Delhi Express, scheduled for January 19, 2024, will now depart at 14:05 hrs from Chandigarh, facing a delay of 120 minutes.
  3. Train number 12926 Amritsar-Bandra Terminus, set for January 19, 2024, will be rescheduled to depart at 09:00 hrs from Amritsar, encountering a delay of 100 minutes.
  4. Train number 15708 Amritsar-Katihar, scheduled for January 19, 2024, will now depart at 09:10 hrs from Amritsar, with a delay of 90 minutes.

Regulation of Trains:

  1. Train number 19020 Haridwar-Bandra Terminus Express, scheduled for January 18, 2024, will face regulation for 100 minutes between Adarsh Nagar Delhi-Kurukshetra.
  2. Train number 22685 Yasvanthpur-Chandigarh Express, set for January 17, 2024, will undergo regulation for 60 minutes between Adarsh Nagar Delhi-Kurukshetra.
  3. Train number 22430 Pathankot-Delhi Express, planned for January 19, 2024, will be regulated for 60 minutes between Ambala Cantt. and Dhola Mazra.
  4. Train number 22706 Jammu Tawi-Tirupati Express, scheduled for January 19, 2024, will experience regulation for 40 minutes between Ambala Cantt. and Dhola Mazra.

Passengers are advised to check the revised schedule and plan their journeys accordingly. The inconveniences caused are regretted, and the Railways appreciates the cooperation of the traveling public during this period of essential maintenance work.
