NCRTC Unveils Exclusive Opportunities for Events and Film Shoots at RRTS Stations and Namo Bharat Trains
In a groundbreaking move, the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has launched a comprehensive policy opening the doors for renting out NCRTC/RRTS premises, including the state-of-the-art Namo-Bharat trains, to host events and film shoots. This move caters to the increasing demand for unique and modern shooting locations amid the rising popularity of OTT platforms and the digital entertainment landscape.
Filmmakers now have the chance to capitalize on the futuristic appeal of RRTS stations and Namo-Bharat trains, offering international standards in architecture, design, and facilities. These locations provide a visually captivating and versatile backdrop, with RRTS stations boasting striking blue and beige tones inspired by the peacock feather, well-lit and airy spaces, and aesthetic charm coupled with practical functionality.
The Namo-Bharat trains, representing the epitome of modernity, feature sleek designs, wide gangways, tinted panoramic windows, and impeccable passenger-centric amenities. These trains provide optimal settings for cinematic storytelling, enhancing the visual narratives of films and web series.
NCRTC/RRTS premises are available not only for film shoots but also for various events. The 17-kilometer-long priority section between Sahibabad and Duhai Depot was inaugurated on October 20, 2023, by the Honorable Prime Minister, marking a significant milestone in India’s transportation landscape. The upcoming 25 km stretch between Duhai and Meerut South RRTS station, with trial runs currently underway, further solidifies the nation’s dedication to cutting-edge transit infrastructure.
